As VP of Commercial Strategy, my role is to manage our growth, developing relationships with current and potential customers as well as our Ocean carrier and Terminal partners. Intermodal logistics is fraught with difficulties, but my role is to bring order to this chaos by offering unique solutions with our pivot strategies. I thrive on my can do attitude to provide creative solutions where others give up.

Background

I am a native of Glasgow, Scotland and have enjoyed over 40 year's experience in the shipping and logistics market in Europe and the USA. 27 Years were with Maersk in UK and USA with escalating authority culminating in 10 years as VP USA West and Gulf region. I joined Valor Victoria in 2018, we opened our first service and private terminal in Iowa in 2019 and am proud of the wide scope of services we now provide. I have been married to Joanne for 36 years, with children and grandchildren in UK, California and Maine to keep us busy with travel and holidays.
